Touch Wall

Last day (and night) before show was crazy. I stared playing with possible interactions developing my application at the same time. After two days with Openframeworks I liked it very much. This very fast and robust C++ library can do things that Processing and Flash guys can only dream of. Above is final version of [...]

Crafting Interactive Spaces

Finally I’ve found some time to write about project did just before Christmas break during Crafting Intarctive Spaces course. This time we were supervised by Joshua Walton and James Tichenor from The Rockwell Group Lab. The course started by visiting SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. We visited this hotel to look for inspiration and places [...]

MoneyVis – visualizing private data

In the second week of our data visualization course we had to focus on one bigger project. Most people still worked with UNdata but I decided to choose a data set more important to me. Three years ago I started a small experiment. I keep track of all money I spend. I have one simple [...]

UNdata – visualizing public data

Finally! This is what I was waiting for so long, a data visualization course with Shawn Allen from Stamen. They are one of the most known design agencies specializing in data visualization in the world and I really love their works. The course started with quick introduction to ActionScript. I already knew it so I [...]

Computational Design course

Since last week we are learning (or refreshing already existing knowledge) about Processing. This open source software is very good to do some quick sketches of animations and interactive visualizations. During the course we are using Wii Remote as an input device. There will be two projects. The first one is about creating something interactive [...]

(Multi)Touchscreen mania

After watching Jeff Han presentations and all the hype about iPhone I’ve caught this mania too. Actually I plan to build a multitouch screen for myself during next semester. It’s not that difficult. You need just a projector, a camera, couple of infrared LED’s and of course a little bit of programming But that is [...]

Playing with motion sensor in my MacBook Pro

Recently I’ve started playing with Sudden Motion Sensor (SMS) in my laptop. Here are the results: Because SMS works also in a MacBook, I’ve decided to build a toy using this technology.

Zapraszam : http://vorg.pl/projects/yourfavcolor [updated] Opis działania projektu: W momencie wejścia na stronę naszym [...]

Wybory 2007

Dane, [...]
